Tap Create game, then share the join code, or invite friends straight from the lobby. Friends tap Join game and enter the code. You can also save a group as a party to get everyone in with one tap.

Tap Public game to play with whoever's online. Choose Classic, Endz or both, and you'll be seated at a table of up to 6. Turns last 30 seconds, and the first player out wins.

If a game's already going, you can watch and you'll be dealt into the next one.

Every game at a public table changes your rating. Win and it goes up (more for beating stronger players); lose and it goes down. Everyone starts at 1000.

It takes around 10 public games to appear in the rankings. Leaving a game, or being removed for missing 3 turns in a row, counts as a loss. Private games and competitions don't affect your rating.

No. Blackjack UK is a card game for entertainment. There's no real-money gambling, nothing to buy and no prizes.

With your Apple or Google account. Your games, friends and ranking are saved to your account, so they follow you if you change phones.

On the home screen, tap Edit profile. To hide your real name so other players only see your @handle, open Settings and turn off Show display name.

On the home screen, tap Settings, then Delete account, and confirm. This permanently deletes your account, profile, photo, friends, parties, ratings and game history. It can't be undone.

If you can't get into the App, email support@grittydigital.com from the address you signed in with and we'll delete it for you.

Check that notifications are turned on for Blackjack UK in your iPhone's Settings → Notifications. If they're on and still not arriving, sign out and back in, then email us if that doesn't help.

During a game, open the menu (top right) and tap Report a player. Pick the player and a reason (harassment, cheating, abusive language, threats or something else) and add any details.

We review every report and can remove players who break the rules. If someone is in danger, contact the emergency services first.

We only collect what the App needs, we don't sell it, and ads are not personalised. Read the privacy policy for the details.

Close the App fully and open it again. If it keeps happening, update to the latest version from the App Store, then email us your iPhone model and iOS version.
